Architectural Design Project
Recreational Hub. Jalan SS 7/15, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Taking the idea of camping, being submerged and emphasizing the natural surrounding, the idea is to have the design permeable to its external surroundings whist maintaining the contrast between built and natural form. The permeability of the building indirectly enhances its transparency and honesty of the design through the usage of raw unfinished materials and exposing the structural formation. In addition to that, the design creates a continuity from exterior to interior. All in all, the intention of the design is to connect. Connect the people within the community, community with nature and also the design with nature.
